As part of moves towards human resources development in Nigeria,the youth directorate of the Foursquare Gospel Church ,recently floated a capacity building seminar in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
24/7 Gospel Entertainment  gives you an exclusive highlight of proceedings at the 1-day seminar.

 

The youth of Foursquare Gospel Church Abeokuta district held a day capacity building seminar tagged STEP UP on the 2nd of  October 2017. The program which appears to be an annual program focuses on empowering youths on job employment and job creation.

The program started with red-carpet at exactly 09:30 am.

They latter had a tea break and exhibition session (Various brands and business who have pre registered to have their product exhibited were giving the opportunity) this was done in order to encourage youth not to only settle or look for white collar jobs but they can also be an artisan.

Furthermore, they had a break out session where attendees were distributed to various groups for a brief discussion on topics like ;

  1. The importance of social media to an artisan
  2. Should graduate seek work experience first or start as an entrepreneur?
  3. The place of social media in start-up business

Pastor Mrs Akinyosoye (MD/C.E.O Shalom Mega Stores)  encouraged young folks to start up something and not wait till it is right because time will never be right and the program came to a close.
